Adding a personal touch to your new ROC Flight Case or Hurricane Case makes your case unique, whether it be your company logo or text etc.

As demonstrated on our

Here we have a very happy customer off the back of a successful install of his new M-DRO Digital Readout Kit which he fitted on to a Boxford AUD Lathe with the original plain cross slide.

As you can see by the images, our customer has done a very professional job on the install and has fitted it using brackets supplied in the box. With only a little modification to accommodate the plain cross slide, rather than the T slotted version that the kit was originally designed to for.

This customer can now carry on machining but with the advantage of having a DRO fitted to enhance precision when using their lathe.

We always encourage you to send us your installation images, please sent them along with a short description to This email address is being protected from spambots. If you’re working in a workshop environment for machinists, you would be very familiar with swarf (also known as turnings, filing or shavings). Swarf refers to the turning chips of metal that have been through a metalworking process such as grinding, drilling, turning, or milling. Wood swarf is known as sawdust.

These metal chips can be extremely sharp and can cause serious injuries if not handled correctly, so it’s important to take care when they appear around the machine. It is also not uncommon for the metal shavings to fly off the machine by ejecting with great force and to travel several metres. Safety glasses should always be worn when working on this kind of machinery, safety gloves is also recommended to avoid creating cuts and splinters when not handled properly. When it comes to disposing and handling metal swarf, it may be compressed into bricks and can usually be recycled.

Amada UK Sample Case

AMADA approached Cases and Enclosures for a storage solution to place a range of different laser cut parts which were manufactured by their latest, award-winning fibre laser cutting machine, the AMADA VENTIS-3015AJ. This would be for their European sales team to showcase these laser cut parts in a presentable and practical fashion.

After receiving their requirements, our Technical Product Specialist decided the best ROC Flight Case for their application would be the A009 ROC Flight Case due to its practical size and secure reinforced corners & egg foam lid. To protect the laser cut parts further, AMADA requested Custom CNC Foam with precise slots where the laser cut parts will be safely placed. This not only added protection to the metal parts, but it also made the contents of the case look more presentable and organised.
